Just DO IT
Doing the work isn't always fun. Yet it is necessary!
Don't let "not feeling like it" derail you or get too loud in your head.
There are a ton of things that I don't feel like doing, yet, I love results, so I do them anyways.
Some tips to help you take action and do the things you don't really want to do!
THOUGHT STOPPING:
Don't let the voice of "I don't want to" or "I don't feel like it" get in the way.
Literally tell your self "STOP, I will not allow this thought right now ... this is not helping me right now."
REMINDERS:
Remind yourself that this is a HABIT that you are either trying to break or develop.
Remind yourself WHY you value what you are resisting and why it would be WORTH it.
RESOURCING:
CONNECT with yourself and see if you can tune into the voice of ENCOURAGEMENT, support and reason.
TALK to yourself (either internally or out loud) and use WORDS, phrases, singing, and energy to build up momentum. Say the words "Yes, I can, Yes, I will."
ACTION:
Small action steps can BUILD and lead to big change. Don't get discouraged if you can't make leaps and bounds, start somewhere. Start anywhere!
If you want change to happen, you have to be willing to change something in your current status quo.
You have to be WILLING to STOP, TAKE INVENTORY, and be MINDFUL of what is currently happening. Only from true awareness can we create actionable change.
